A belt conveyor scale is a device that continuously measures bulk material as it moves along a conveyor.
The system requires two general parameters to operate. First it needs to know the weight of the material being moved along the conveyor belt and second it needs to know the speed at which it’s moving along the conveyor belt.
The weight of the material on the belt is determined by weighing a section of conveyor belt loaded with material and then subtracting the average weight of the unloaded belt. The speed at which the material is moving is determined by measuring the speed of an idler or wheel in contact with the conveyor belt. The weight and speed are combined to give a running total and a rate of flow of the material.
The correct operation of the scale system requires the components to be installed properly, periodically calibrated, and suitably maintained.

N-64 Two Idler and Four Idler Belt Scale
The Bulk Pro Systems Model N-64 2-Idler and 4-Idler Precision Belt Scale Systems are designed for all high speed, high capacity belts which require high accuracy.
They can help you monitor production, confirm incoming product, load-out outgoing product and monitor product inventory.
The Model N-64-2 (2-idler) Belt Scale will maintain an accuracy of plus or minus 0.25% and the Model N-64-4 (4-idler) Belt Scale will maintain an accuracy of plus or minus 0.125%.
The N-64 weighbridge utilizes four (4) precision load cells and a full floating design. It has no pivots or easily worn parts and a robust steel tube construction that allows for minimal material build-up.

N-60 Belt Scale Speed Sensors
The Model N-60, N-60B, N-60M and N-60X belt scale speed sensors are designed to monitor the speed of a moving conveyor belt by sending a frequency to the Bulk Pro Systems Model 6101T belt scale integrator.
The N-60, N-60B, N-60M and N-60X belt scale speed sensors directly couple to non-driven rotating shaft on the conveyor.
These speed sensors submit an output signal at a frequency directly proportional to the shaft speed. This frequency is sent to the 6101T Belt Scale Integrator which takes the speed and the load cell mV signals and converts them into a rate.
The N-60, N-60B, N-60M and N-60X belt scale speed sensors not only work in conjunction with the Bulk Pro Systems, LLC belt scales, they are a direct replacement
for the Thermo Ramsey belt scale speed sensors.
